Sri Koppula Eshwar is the Minister of Scheduled Castes Development, Minority Welfare and Senior Citizen Welfare. He won as a Member of Legislative Assembly (M.L.A) from Dharmapuri constituency in Karimnagar assembly constituency.
He is a Graduate in Arts and elected six times as an MLA from Karimnagar district.

Our honourable Chief Minister, Chandrashekar Rao is serious towards the welfare and development of minority communities as well as promotion of Urdu language and literature. In this regard, Urdu language has been given the status of second official language in the state and for its practical implementation, Urdu Officers have been appointed at the offices of District Collectors and at the office of Hon'ble Chief Minister as well.
