Urdu Maskan (originally known as Urdu Bhavan or Urdu Ghar Cum Shadi Khana) is situated at Motigalli, Khilwath, Hyderabad.
It is an asset of Telangana State Urdu Academy, Minorities Welfare Department, Government of Telangana, which was inaugurated on 3rd March 2014 i.e. on Monday by the Honorable Minister for Minorities Welfare Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh Mr. Ahmed Ullah & Member of Parliament & President AIMIM Barrister Asad Uddin Owaisi and Other Politicians, Bureaucrat, Intellectuals and many more.
The Urdu Maskan's main objective is to promote & safeguard Urdu & to provide a platform to everyone to schedule various programs related to educational, religious, social, political & cultural and much more.
Urdu Maskan comprises an auditorium named as "Salar-E-Millat Memorial Auditorium" with 400 fixed Theatre Chairs and an A/C Hall named as "Khaja Shouq Meeting Hall" with 100 PVC Chairs.
The 1st program at Urdu Maskan - Salar-E-Millat Memorial Auditorium was a religious program scheduled on 5th of April 2014 i.e. on Saturday organized by Dawath-E-Ehle Sunnath Wa Jammath & the 1st program at Khaja Shouq Meeting Hall was an Educational program scheduled on 3rd May 2014 i.e. on Saturday organized by Confederation of Voluntary Associations [COVA].
Till the end of February '2020 a total number of 1069 programs have been successfully completed in both the Auditorium / Hall i.e. 387 in Salar-E-Millat Memorial Auditorium & 682 in Khaja Shouq Meeting Hall respectively.

- Rent includes Electricity Consumption Charges, Air Condition Charges (for A/C Hall), PA System / Sound System & Parking.
- Security Deposit is refundable if no damages are caused.
- Rent is paid through Bankers Cheque / Demand Draft from any Nationalized Bank in favor of Director/Secretary, Urdu Academy, Hyderabad.

| 1 | Booking of Urdu Maskan - Salar-E-Millat Memorial Auditorium and Khaja Shouq Meeting Hall will be made through the In-Charge/Manager, Urdu Maskan, Motigalli, Khilwath, Hyderabad. |
| 2 | Director/Secretary, Telangana State Urdu Academy, Hyderabad reserves the right in the allotment, cancellation of any event/program of any party/organization without assigning reason thereof. |
| 3 | Priority of allotment will be given to the cultural activities based on the promotion of Urdu language and Literature. |
| 4 | Once the booking is made on particular party/organization name cannot be transferred to any other party/organization without prior permission from the Director/Secretary, Telangana State Urdu Academy, Hyderabad. |
| 5 | Party/Organization on which name the booking is made shall only be allowed to display its name on the stage and within the premises. |
| 6 | For display of name(s) of Sponsor Organization on the stage and within premises additional charges have to be made along with the booking charges. |
| 7 | After booking through the In-Charge/Manager, Urdu Maskan, Khilwath Road, Hyderabad, the confirmation process will be done within 2 days from the day of booking and will be informed to the party over phone. |
| 8 | After confirmation of booking, the party has to submit a Bankers Cheque / DD for 100% charges as per the schedule of rates within next 3 working days at the office of the In-Charge/Manager, Urdu Maskan, Motigally, Khilwath, Hyderabad. Parties not belonging to twin cities can submit their DD within 7 working days of their booking. If failed to do so, the booking will not be valid further. |
| 9 | Programs can be scheduled in between 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM (4 Hours Time Slot / Each Event) |
| i | The reservation once made is final and cannot be preponed or postponed. |
| ii | The party can cancel their program before 20 days with 20% deduction in the payment already made. No refund will be given, if the cancellation is made within 20 days from the program. |
| iii | Caution deposit once paid for any program can be adjusted towards future program of the same party within the calendar year otherwise it will not be refunded. |
| iv | The allotment will be cancelled if the Auditorium is requisitioned by Government Officials. |
| 1 | The management of Urdu Maskan reserves the right to refuse allotment of Auditorium/Meeting Hall to any institution or individual without assigning any reason thereof. |
| 2 | The management shall have access to the Auditorium and Meeting Hall of Urdu Maskan at all times and even during the actual performance. |
| 3 | The party has to provide Generator at their own cost. |
| 4 | Edibles are strictly not allowed in the premises of Auditorium / Meeting Hall. |
| 5 | Drinking Water arrangements are to be made at their own cost. |
| 6 | Illumination charges will be borne by the Party. |
| 7 | Alcohol & Smoking is strictly prohibited in the premises of Urdu Maskan. |
| 8 | The total accommodation of Main Auditorium is 300 and Balcony 100 Seats i.e. Total No. of 400 fixed seats & Khaja Shouq Meeting Hall Total 120 (Maximum) PVC seats only. |
| 9 | No extra chairs will be provided beyond the mentioned no. of seats in both the Auditoriums, DJ & Dance Events are strictly not allowed in both the Auditoriums. |
| 10 | Kindly Cooperate with the Urdu Maskan Management & Vacate the Premises on Time. |
