Ansari takes over as TS Urdu Academy chairman
Moulana Mohammed Raheemuddin Ansari, took over as the Chairman of Telangana State Urdu Academy today in his Chambers in Urdu Academy at Haj House Building, Nampally, Hyderabad.
Mr. Mohd Saleem MLC, Chairman TS Waqf Board, Mr. Mohammed Masiullah Khan Chairman TS Haj Committee, Mr. Mohammed Akber Hussain Chairman TS Minorities Finance Corporation, Mr. MA Waheed Member TS Waqf Board and others congratulated him on his new assignment.
Prof S A Shukoor Director/Secretary Urdu Academy welcomed and gave a report on the functioning of the Urdu Academy. Mr. Ansari expressed firm determination to struggle for solving problems of Urdu language in the State.
It may be recalled here that Mr. Ansari had earlier served as the President of the AP Urdu Academy from 2006 to 2009. He thanked Chief Minister Mr. K. Chandrasekhara Rao and Barrister Asaduddin Owaisi on his nomination.
A large number of Urdu writers, poets, intellectuals, journalists and representatives of various organisations were present on this occasion.
